JUST HIT PLAY.
Excuse me while I reblog ALL OF THE MISCAST VIDEOS for a bit. Regularly scheduled tumbling will resume tomorrow.
SINCE WHEN CAN JANE RAP
sploosh. I close my eyes and pretend he’s singing to me and it’s GLORIOUS.
I know I’ve been remiss (I kind of forgot about this tumblr, oy) but people need to upload videos from The American Songbook’s tribute to Brian Yorkey and Tom Kitt STAT. Idina sings heretofore (or heartofore?) unheard songs from their new musical!!
New Year’s Eve, December 31 at 8:00 PM
Looking for romance on New Year’s Eve? Join host Audra McDonald and an all-star cast including Joshua Bell, Raul Esparza, Michael Feinstein, Josh Groban, Megan Hilty, Kelli O’Hara and Frederica Von Stade in the New York Philharmonic’s joyous salute to the life and work of Marvin Hamlisch, the man behind the music from A Chorus Line and “The Way We Were.” Conducted by Paul Gemignani.
Don’t care about Bell, Groban (and have no idea who Frederica is) BUT I WILL WATCH THE HECK OUT OF HILTY, O’HARA, ESPARZA, AND ESPECIALLY MCDONALD.
SO UPSET at this Carrie Underwood business, when Audra (/Sutton/Lea (Salonga)/Kelli) would KILL IT. JUST LISTEN TO THIS.
I have no words, but this is FANTASTIC. Singing the words during playback is a *little* rough around the edges, but I DON’T CARE because the voices and spirit and everything is fab.u.lous. FABULOUS.
This should be…interesting.
